Editor’s note: Special thanks to lorraine of Worldwide Church of God Alumni message board for thinking this up. There are some downright cheezy Christmas music but then there are some that really a strike a positive chord in the human soul.  Here is a little list that does just that!

Christmas Carols that include praise to Christ

Angels From The Realm Of Glory
Angels We Have Heard On High
Away In a Manger
Bring A Torch, Jeanette Isabella
Do You Hear What I Hear
Far, Far Away on Judea’s Plains
Go, Tell It On The Mountain
God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen
Good Christian Men, Rejoice
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day
It Came Upon The Midnight Clear
Joy To The World
O Come, All Ye Faithful
O Holy Night
O Little Town of Bethlehem
Once In Royal David’s City
Silent Night
The First Noel
The Shepherd’s Carol (round)
We Three Kings of Orient Are
What Child Is This?
When Joseph Went To Bethlehem
While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks
With Wondering Awe

Christians or not there are so many carols sung that give praise to Christ the Son and I love when people sing in praise to honour Him.  (Editor’s note: May I give a hearty and enthusiastic AMEN!!!)

While you’re at it…

Read also Darren Carrey of Catholic Comment’s piece answering the anti-Christmas critics atheist and Armstrongite alike in his article, “Christmas Really Does Honor Christ” . Though I’m on Dr.Pryor’s spectrum on the issue, I think Darren in his splendid writing skills (as usual) does an excellent job himself explaining that it is okay and appropriate to celebrate the first coming of Our Lord.
