That will never happen. There will always be a group of folks who will rely upon a higher power to guide their life, give them strength, and help explain the world to them within the confines of their religious belief.
Atheism is also a religion, as atheists cannot prove that there is no God. Thus, they are relying upon faith as well (and I speak as a former atheist).
