HWA and Khomeni agree: No fun whatsoever!

Here’s what Ayatollah Khomeni actually said,

 

“Allah did not create man so that he could have fun. The aim of creation was for mankind to be put to the test through hardship and prayer. An Islamic regime must be serious in every field. There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam. There can be no fun and joy in whatever is serious.”

Here is what Herbert W. Armstrong probably wished his version on what Khomeini said,

 

“Brethren, God put us here on this very earth for a test! We are in final training to become God as God is God in these last days!!!  God’s Church, therefore must be serious in EVERYTHING!!! There is NO jokes in God’s Church! There is NO humour in God’s Church! There is NO fun in God’s Church! Training to become the VERY GOD is serious business!”
