For those who did READ my post called Raise A Little Hell (April 18th), you will understand. Thank you PasedenaGuy10!
“ … I have three things I’d like to say today. First, while you were sleeping last night, 30,000 kids died of starvation or diseases related to malnutrition. Second, most of you don’t give a shit. What’s worse is that you’re more upset with the fact that I said shit than the fact that 30,000 kids died last night.”
Oh man! The SOB said shit. Damm. I can’t f***ing believe it.
The world need to lose many more than that to stop some of the madness caused by humans.
And how, pray tell, did you feel about 30,000 children dying? And what did you really accomplish with your accusation against all others? Did you feel a bit more self-righteous as a result? It’s an easy thing to accuse others of such complacency.
There are some that are truly are complacent and proud of it. There are some that are very narcissistic and care only about themselves (and may I add they are the most toxic of people). Some of these people need to be shocked in some way—and yes even the hard way to have some kind of understanding that it is NOT all about them, it’s about others. If nobody has the guts to get their attention—who will?
He was talking about Haiti- and was giving a presentation in front of the Pope. This was the first thing he said. Context makes things a lot deeper than they appear.
