60 Minutes Rader interview now on Youtube (and still The Painful Truth website)

(This post will supersede the May 19,2009 post which is now deleted—The Editor)

You can find the late Stanley R. Rader interview with Mike Wallace on 60 Minutes is now on Youtube and still on The Painful Truth website here and here. Some would say we should forget about it, it was 30 years ago and the new incarnation of the Worldwide Church of God, Grace Communion International is now a evangelical Christian church and no longer a cult (but it can be argued there may be systematic cultism but that’s neither here nor there). The fact is that there is at least over 200 splinters and off-shoots of the historic Worldwide Church of God and it’s leaders have absolutely no shame but arrogant pride in accepting the founding leadership’s mantle. Some of the people who are in the splinters may have had no contact with the historic Worldwide Church of God but had direct contact with the splinter, unaware about the events that happened during 1979-80 receivership crisis in then-WCG world headquarters in Pasedena, California. They need to know this, they need their eyes open to the truth. To do nothing and allow people to be filled with ignorant comfort is simply wicked. Thanks again Kscribe for producing the video together. Also Mike Wallace, you are my hero for exposing God-hucksterism, I hope retirement is serving you well. I wish someday that we will have the actual video matching the audio. You’ll know what I mean but until then…

  1. The problem with Grace Communion International is that the ones in the administration benefit from the blood money created by Herbert Armstrong, then claim innocence by proclaiming that they are now preaching the true gospel while the blood is still dripping off of them and they are still as abusive (with neglect being a form of abuse) as the original, of which they are an ersatz copy. And they got that true gospel, exactly from where?

And it is true that they lied to their staff and screwed them royally by denying the promised benefits after the Ambassador Auditorium was sold. They are liars, cheats and con men, possibly (and likely) narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths. Does it make it any better that they now deny their legacy of being hirelings of a false prophet?

If you were looking for pure religion and undefiled, don’t stop here — keep looking, because as sure as death, taxes, revenge and the fury of a woman scorned, you won’t find it in GCI either.

They lie to you and then they take your money.

And they’re just fine with that.

Don’t you have a problem with that?

    1. Just to hear the old man (HWA), GTA and Radar’s voices again gives me chills! And to see the pictures of the ornate table with all the silver and crystal – well let’s just say, makes me sick to my stomach! I went without as a child because of these WCG bullies, as my mother sent her 1st, 2nd and 3rd tithes (that were not even hers to send, but instead my Dad’s hard earned money! My Dad was not in the WCG – my mother was). I hope they all rot in hell!

      1. One of the reasons why I am not an Absolute Universalist in my theology. It is not politically correct to suggest the notion that God is just. When people forbid discussion of the justice of God, they in effect make a God who is weak against fighting evil. That’s not a god I care to worship.

  2. Can you put this video of the 60 Minutes interview back up or send it to my email, I have been searching for it for some time. I would really appreciate it, thanks
