Mark Tabladillo now in the world of blogdom

For those who have been associated with the Worldwide Church of God or it’s daughters, you have definately heard the name of Mark Tabladillo. Back in the late ’90’s, I and a friend considered him “the walking version of the First Amendment” when WCGers wanted to speak their minds about the upheaval that permanently affected the denomination whether for better or for worse.  He had a website detailing the resignations of various members and ministers during that period. It had various articles from former and current members discussing various points of view on X/WCG issues. One can arguably say that this was the beginning of the end of “total information control” from the X/WCG heirarchy. With saying that, the WCG in it’s new incarnation Grace Communion International and the various splinters STILL have information control over members BUT it with the advent of internet technology that control is getting difficult by the minute. If Mark had anything to do with it (big or small), I give thanks.  Mark did not stop there with his own website.  In the late 90’s he started a message board site called, “Jesus Loves Fellowship” on InsideTheWeb.com (now defunct) and has continued in Delphi.com since the early 00’s. I have participated in both message boards through out the past decade and have encountered many people dealing with their post WCG experiences and boy that was an experience of itself, talk about an internet rollercoaster ride!  I have been blogging for over 5 years now and Mark Tabladillo in 2010 is entering the world of blogdom. One of his new blogs is called Mark Tab Nexus which deals with one of my favourite topics, apologetics (which means defending Theism and the Christian faith). Mark is reviewing one of progressive creationist Hugh Ross`books (More Than A Theory).  Over a year ago, I had the good fortune to meet Dr.Ross when he came and visited Toronto. A very, very intelligent man to say the least. What can I say, he is an astronomer and astrophysist by profession. You might not agree with everything Dr.Ross may say but you cannot say he doesn`t do his homework but that`s neither here nor there. I wish Mark Tabladillo many successful years on his blog. They will be another blog from him relating to WCG, GCI,XCG issues coming soon.
