HWA and Khomeni agree: No fun whatsoever!

Here’s what Ayatollah Khomeni actually said,
“Allah did not create man so that he could have fun. The aim of creation was for mankind to be put to the test through hardship and prayer. An Islamic regime must be serious in every field. There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam. There can be no fun and joy in whatever is serious.”
Here is what Herbert W. Armstrong probably wished his version on what Khomeini said,
“Brethren, God put us here on this very earth for a test! We are in final training to become God as God is God in these last days!!! God’s Church, therefore must be serious in EVERYTHING!!! There is NO jokes in God’s Church! There is NO humour in God’s Church! There is NO fun in God’s Church! Training to become the VERY GOD is serious business!”

Nonsense.
The church was a joke.
…and a sick joke to add to that!
My Pastor certainly doesn’t appreciate jokes ABOUT the church. I found that out a few weeks ago, after I posted my annual “church picnic report.”
On the other hand, HWA did indeed have a sense of humor. I remember him telling a few jokes — like the time he hugged himself and parodied some people by saying: “I love me! I’m wild about me!”
What an amazing quote. I’m glad he never pushed it as an official doctrine. Imagine, “The PLAIN TRUTH about Humor”. It could feature Sam the Eagle (from the Muppett Show) on the cover. Oh, wait. That would be funny… sorry…

Islam is all about having 72 virgins after you die, so it is a religion of sex, dedicated to men. That fun is the whole appeal of Islam.
It should be noted that an Islam man dedicates his life to Allah in order to ignore Allah for all eternity, having the forgetfulness of sex, sex, sex. What kind of religion demands faithfulness to its god, only to have the participants ignore that god for the rest of eternity after the men die?
And for the women: No, Ayatollah Khomeni was right — there is no fun for them.
